they've been having speakers and brainstorming at Vanderbilt. I didn't get to meet Bernie, the guy who organized it. Great group.
there's a lot of good things to do with kids that aren't demostrations... back when i was in college -- during the cold war -- we did an art exchange with our sister city in the old soviet union. a school in russia and a school in east tenneessee exchanged pictures of what they thought 'peace" was. it was a really great show! the kids loved it.
I have a friend at who teaches at Abintra and they are always doing great political activites with kids. i'll see if she doesn't have any good ideas.
