He didn't abandon anyone. He is a private citizen. Moral imperative? Tell that to the chickenshit Democrats who told him to concede in 2000.

Why isn't Clinton defending the vote? He was the President, for Christ's sake? Or Jimmy Carter? Why aren't the people who were involved in THIS election defending the vote?

Gore stood and fought when no one had his back. Even his running mate was telling him to stand down. But he stayed. And for that he's a hero.
