I emailed Bill Nelson (my senator) and reminded him of his speeches that I attended on the campaign trail with Kerry and Edwards last summer where he criticized the disenfrancisement of thousands of his constituents in the 2000 election, and promised that this would not repeat in the future. So I told him that I expected him to make good on this promise because I didn't want to think that his words were just lip service.
