1. "the" unifier vs DNA
Almost every cell in your body contains all the DNA required to allow it to perform as a brain cell, a red blood cell, a muscle cell -- anything. When development occurs the cells start to self-organize without a single leader. They respond within their own position in the mass of cells by becoming whichever function they will eventually need to perform. This design is robust.

Sharing a common code of becoming.

A single unifier is an easy target.

Affinity groups are a good place to start.
