I've been depressed sinced the election was stolen in my own state (Ohio), and I've not had the heart to let it go. I've stood back and watched others (on here, etc.) talk about the fraud and how Kerry "has a secret plan", and blah blah blah.
I never really believed that we could overturn this election, though I have hoped somehow it could happen. I've remained loyal to John Kerry, and have planned on supporting him if he chooses to run in 2008.
I've come to a few new conclusions though, after what I've read on here today. One: nobody cares. Only the few dedicated progressives and alienated right-wingers that have called for investigation care. Everyone else is perfectly happy with throwing away the democracy our father's fought and died for.
Two: It seems Kerry isn't going to fight. I understand. I can think of some reasons (political) that he wouldn't drag this out. I still admire the man, and if he decides to run in '08, I'll support him. If not, fine. I'm a little upset at the idea of just bending over for the GOP pricks and gritting my teeth.
As far as the people that preach about trying to understand average Bush voters, piss on that. They're morons. Many of them are serving in the military, or have loved ones serving, and I send them my support for that. Other then that, piss on it. They wanted to throw away my democracy, and they have. I'm not gonna be sorry because I believe in the dream this nation was founded on. I'm not gonna be sorry for looking up to Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Lincoln, Roosevelt(both), Kennedy, Truman and Clinton.
I guess we have to take it up the ass for another four years, and more then likely longer then that if we allow Rove to put another scumbag in office. I will not, however, understand or tolerate people that allow the destruction of my beloved country.
If more people are worried about Janet Jackson's tits or Barry Bonds shooting more rhoids then Hulk Hogan, then George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, and Ken Blackwell urinating on the American flag, it's over.
