31. Arnebeck gone now, but Thom still talking about election fraud
he's saying that the paperless machines can never be verified. He's also talking about the voter suppression in Ohio and the fact that the Repubs got away with suppression in Flordia in 2000. Now he's talking about the campaign to get a Senator to question the veracity of the vote. This brings us back to the original problem, which is ES&S voting machines, Chuck Hagel's old company. Oddly, all of these voting machine companies have heavy connections with Repubs.

Hartmann is also saying he has resisted believing the election could be rigged, but now he is starting to believe it. He's talking about Congressman Rush Holt who was on his program 2 years ago. He put in legislation to simply require the machines to have a paper receipt, something that would actually enhance the profits of the voting machine companies. Yet, the Repubs. almost totally opposed the legislation. Tom DeLay told the Repubs. not to go near that legislation and don't dare put your name on it. Not one member of the Senate Repubs. has come forward with any kind of a rational answer not to have a paper trail on the machines.
