13. Has anyone speculated...
...about if Kerry had, indeed, won Ohio straight up without all the voter fraud tangle? That is, if he would have won the electoral college vote but would still have had a MINORITY of the popular vote. I mean, for four years many Democrats have insisted that Bush didn't have a "mandate" after Florida 2000. But even Gore didn't have a MAJORITY of the popular vote.

I'm not saying that if vote fraud is proven in the 2004 election that we wouldn't have a terribly serious situation. My point is that Democrats would have looked a bit silly in retrospect if the election would have been "clean" and they relied on the Electoral College for a Kerry win instead of the popular vote after having moaned about it for four years.
