8. Why are Democrats quiet?
Perhaps they believe that if the current administration falls, the country will fall to total chaos, economically, politically, socially. Remember what the USSR looked like after the wall fell. Gangsters and those with inordinate amounts of money took over. At least the money guys who would take over here are the same ones that are already running the show. But would we be in a position to rebuild ourselves? Would we be better off if the entire government failed. Look what happened in Iraq when they dumped all the Baathist mid and low-level bureaucrats. Of course, the Blue States might be in better shape than the Red; look at the resources in the Blue States. California alone is a major agricultual producer. Not likely to go hungry here.
