The Republican grief wasn't worth it.
But you know what WAS worth it? Seeing somebody walk in the polling place carrying a Democratic voter information handout that I had made and put on all the houses in my precinct.
I felt TEN FEET FUCKIN' TALL right at that moment.
Man, I'd do it again for free.
And I have MY precinct's optical scan polling tapes (signed by ME, thankyewverymuch) right here in my house if anyone wants 'em! :D
