republicans lie better than democrats

The republican's lies are more credible, because they are dishonest people, so their lies are told with confidence.

The democrats trying to portray themselves in a way that is palatable to the majority, is not believable, because they are tentative about it, since they have to fake both the left and right wing side of things so as to offend as few people as possible.

Honest deception is more believable than half-assed opportunism.

While the democrats are repeating the usual, "see see, we didn't put our noses far enough up the republican's butts, this proves we must compromise more". I think that it is better to be confident about who we are and express it.

I know the democrats would gladly sell any of us out in order to get political power, but such tactics fail because they still have to rely on those very people that they are pissing on to vote for them and give them their money and time.

My opinion is that an honest counter to the the confident dishonesty of the republicans, has more of a chance of winning, than an obviously false toned down message.

I would still vote for a Kerry again in the same situation, i.e. I would only vote for someone who has a chance of winning. I just hope next time people won't compromise so quickly.
