...count me in for the Andy defense fund.

I've seen all I need to understand what's going on here, and I only had to look at today's "update" on the BBV website.

Anybody from the the business world knows that employers NEVER share potentially inflamatory info regarding their former employees outside the company. Not just unprofessional, but stupid for liability reasons.

As an example, when a potential employer calls a former employer seeking info about a job applicant, words are chosen very carefully:
(a) if the employee left on GOOD terms, the conversation can proceed candidly.
(b) if the employee left on BAD terms, the conversation is essentially just one sentence: "Yes, he/she worked here - that's all I can tell you". This is understood by both parties to mean that the applicant left his old employer on bad terms. NEVER are any details discussed - this could potentially open the door to lawsuits.

IMO, Bev is scrambling to save face by making her employee(s) the scapegoat, but she's only making matters worse for herself. Pretty sad.
