I looked up the article and there is no so such quote that you quoted:
"Data corrected to Show Bush's Lead over Kerry by 1%..."

RaulVP says: The last quote strikes me. They "corrected" and feeded a 4% shift between the candidates

This is what the article says now (and admits at the top they have changed the final poll number).
