7. This won't work either way
We got into this fix by expecting our "leaders" to do stuff for us -- stuff that is our duty to promote, not our "leaders".

Like the issue of Gay Marriage. Where's the grassroots support? It's sitting at home wondering why Our Leaders are acting like such weasles.

In the 1950s and 1960s, a lot of white folks were outraged by Segregation -- not just Blacks. Until the hetero community starts voicing a little hellfire-and-brimstone outrage against the New Pharisees, they will own the issue and consolidate their tyrannical rule over the Gay community.

All the angry rhetoric against the DNC is meaningless. The Party isn't like the one that used to run the USSR -- and without strong grass-roots activity, they will revert to Business As Usual. Because they respond to the loudest, clearest voices.

It's OUR party.

We're all frustrated. But this is the best time to lay the groundwork.
