69. MB, I did some Googling on Fisher when his "story" first was out here

on DU. What I found about him didn't lead me to think he was credible.
His campaign website with his Bio on it sounded just plain weird. Other Googling about the folks he mentioned in his Bay Point Boys story, the hostage, etc...sounded really OTT.

I've always been a DU "tinfoiler." But, Fisher's weak bio, the Googling on some of his statements and his performance today make even this dedicated "tinfoiler" run as fast as I can away from anything he says or writes.

I think focusing any more attention on his story does take away from the real story of what happened in Ohio. I don't say this lightly because I don't like DU'ers censuring other DU'ers...but Jeff Fisher had his time on DU and many of us who saw him at that hearing today have to feel that his credibility had it's last gasp there.

His story is out and folks here know about it. I just wonder that we should keep pumping his credibility unless he has something that's new and verifiable. He didn't even bring a statement with him today that Conyers could put into the record. He raves about FBI and hearing not wanting to listen to him, but it seemed Conyers had given him more than enough credibility by saying he knew what he was talking about and had put it in his letter...So why did Fischer try to pull a stunt looking like a "psycho." Lots of people at that hearing were very upset but only Fischer looked like he was on some weird drugs. I don't buy that he looked nutty because he's being hounded or stalked or threatened. He may "believe that" but it doesn't make it true.

Sorry...this tinfoiler doesn't buy that Fischer is someone to waste energy over when so much else out there that isn't being pushed by folks with such a weak background as Fisher has.
