70. Amy6627, welcome to DU!! When you see Kick, all it means is that
a member has replied to the original poster's thread to put this topic back to the top of the thread listings. The more a topic/thread is replied to, the more chances the topic will have exposure to be read. So, after I reply to your post, this thread will be listed at the top of the other threads in the "2004 Election Results and Discussion" forum. So, if someone sees that it is going to the next page instead of staying on the first page, a member will reply with "Kick n/t".

This was the DU (Democratic Underground) glossary site (http://www.seattleactivist.org/DiG.html). It doesn't work anymore, so maybe another DU member can share a new link. But, I can share with you a few acronyms that I know at the top of my head:

n/t = No Text (There's no text in the body of a poster's reply, just text only in the subject line.)
eom = End Of Message (Means the same thing as "n/t")
Freeper, Freeptard, Freep, FreeRepulsive = a disgusting member, and an avid smirking Chimp lover, of www.freerepublic.com. Enter this site at your own risk! These people are worse than Nazis and advocate violence on anyone who disagrees with them!
BFEE = Bush Family Evil Empire
Dupe = Duplicate post

Again, welcome to DU! :toast:
