(why would you need donations to keep yours up if it is free?)
If in fact it is free I will happily start a new one."

Message boards have been free since the start of the internet. Mine is free, as are many. You can start all the boards you want for free, as long as you don't mind putting up with the ADS that appear.

My first board was a personally own board. Not by me, but the guy who owned the service. He paid for the bandwidth (the REAL expense of a message board), and asked if I could gather some donations to help with the expenses. This I did. But the board became a little unstable and so I decided to move to a free board. This board didn't have any Ads for the first 6 months or more... now it's full of em. BUT...it's free... so I don't really care. You want one? No problem! Here's where you sign up:

There are hundreds of others on the net also.

I think too many people are confusing the way I run a message board... with an open forum. This is not and has never been the case. My political messageboard has been "mostly" an easy way for me to BLOG my thoughts and opinions. I COULD have just started a blog and that would have been fine. But due to the show, I wanted to use some of the comments from the message board. This is why the board was started... and it was NEVER intended to be a free-for-all where people could simply go on forever about whatever they hated about me or my positions or how great Democrats are or anything else. It was MOSLY a place to get things off MY chest and then move on. Some people here seem to think I'm some kind of control freak. Well... I DO believe in order. And I DONT believe in rehashing the same political views over and over. For instance: I think BOTH the Democrats AND Republicans SUCK! Shake-em both up together and the same type of problems pour out. But enough about that. :)

Again... I have operated my message board no different then inviting you into my home: I will discuss any topic with you until I'm tired of it. If you continue, I show you the door. It's my home, and so I have the right to tell you to leave. When I'm in YOUR home, you have that same right. But don't come into my home DEMANDING to be heard.. because you simply do not possess that right. Start your own board FOR FREE, and then you can toss ME out when I aggravate you! How's that for fair?
