2. What Goes Around Comes Around
What goes around comes around. Republicans just can't resist practicing xenophobia and race-baiting within their ranks and practicing dog-whistle code words and the politics of division in general elections. The corporate media and clueless white-bread and fresh-off-the-boat voters might miss the racial sub-texts, but most of us can read the underlying code just fine.

The right-wing Republicans are continuing the politics of race from their parents. The notion that their victims might find the politics and practice of name-calling, race-baiting and division offensive seems to have sailed right over their heads. That the majorities of their former victims get angry at the nastiness is an idea that just hasn't occurred to them.

It is my fervent hope that the majority of eligible citizens register to vote and give the Tea-publicans a long overdue civics lesson as to why the politics of exclusion is ugly and un-American. Perhaps a sojourn on the sidelines as long as the Israelites' journey through the Wilderness might be long enough for some of the younger Tea-publicans to wise up (Assuming that's even possible).
