5. law update

New York State's Keg Registration Program has been amended. - Posted November 18, 2004:

Retail sellers of beer are advised to review Bulletin 586-B, which provides updated information regarding the responsibilities of licensees engaged in the retail sale of kegs. Among other changes, the 30-day keg return period has been extended to 90 days. Revised forms required for compliance with the amended Keg Registration law are available for download on our Forms Download page.

Please Note: A keg is any container of four or more gallons, no matter what the shape.
