4. I think greyhound meant The Lutz...

The Lutz is a sleazy dive, with cheap beer and that kind of godforsaken atmosphere you'd expect in a truckstop halfway to hell. It resonates with a spirit of nostalgic decadence, or maybe it's decadent nostalgia. The Lutz jukebox is kind, there's pool and pinball. I think you were either sick or injured the time we went there, though.

But this place over where you live sounds pretty sweet too, if they'll allow outdoor smokes (but if it's McMenamins pub, they've been leaning anti-tobacco in recent years so it'd be a long shot). And it's a wee bit closer for most of us, I think, Reader Rabbit being the exception.

Hmm, thinking of inner SE, decadence, and nostalgia, maybe we should do a Rocky Horror Picture Show outing at the Clinton St. Theater the week before the primary? Last time I went, they had a pretty well-tuned cabaret, and it's been a proud Portland tradition for something like 30 years now, every Saturday at midnight.

It's worth a ponder anyway, might not be the thread for it.
