By 18 months from now, the Ohio electorate has got to become fed up with our pathetic state of affairs and want to take it out on...someone. They took a pass and let old Voinovich get elected and gave the boy king a narrow victory last November. Do you think Dewine is fearful of being the object of their rising wrath? To his credit, he did vote against drilling the Alaska refuge, but on the balance he has about nothing to show for his 10 years in Washington. Do you think he joined this Senate-compromise-group to act moderate so he does not get the boot in 2006?
