Work took me on Michigan Avenue, and I drove by it. It's sad to see it falling apart before our eyes. It would be better at this point to tear it down. Otherwise, it will rot like Hudson's and end up getting torn down in the long run.

It is too bad there is not a Big Ten school in Detroit that could use it, or a way to gut the inside, preserve the outside and use it for a different purpose.

The rumor I heard is that it will be torn down for Walmart.
