to trust him? It's insane. Fortunately for us, he's shown us what he is: a monumental LIAR!

Wake up and and smell the coffee. Americans don't like spouses that cheat on the one person they are supposed to love more than anyone in the world. If he'd stick it to her, he'd stick it to the rest of us.
