Because of heavy new registrations, the Board of Elections has fallen behind in processing them. Accordingly, I wonder whether her registration was actually lost in the mail or simply not yet processed.
Earlier this week, someone here at CU posted about people going to court to make sure that they are enrolled. I don't have time to do a search for it but you should be able to find it.
