Jean Shaheen has only one job. ignore the questions being asked and keep hammering the talking points. I saw the interview, also. And my feeling was what could Jean say. It's 30 points for cris' sakes. So what did she say. More than you are saying. She hit the point that Iraq was wrong and that we aren't safer any more now than years before. About the jobs was how she ended the question hitting home about job loss and security at home begins with jobs. It wasn't as bad as what you are saying. Jean just doesn't hit the points home like Ed Gillespie who never answers a question but sure can crush those talking points home in 60 seconds.
