We in the market research call it "mother in law" research - as in "my mother-in-law doesn't like it, so no one will" or "I don't know a single person who has been swayed by the pick except people who already going to vote for McCain."

Just because you don't know anyone doesn't mean it's a fantasy of some supposed DU Trolls or something.

I have some idiot friends and relatives - maybe you don't.
