33. Is the college hockey team the one which her oldest son was kept off of?
I read (among the masses of posts yesterday) that the only reason her oldest son Track was in the military now was that he couldn't maintain the 2.0 QPA necessary to play on the college hockey team. His furious father forced him to enlist. So maybe the refusal to fund the new roof for the Anchorage arena was that special brand of Palin payback to anyone who crosses them.

If MY kid, who played varsity soccer for an Ivy college, had not been able to make the team because of grades, my response would be that it was more important that he get a college degree than play a sport, and if he couldn't get passing grades AND play an intercollegiate sport, he'd have to buckle down and bring the grades up. I sure as hell wouldn't have pulled the plug on his college education to send him into the killing fields of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Both Palins are really bottom-of-the-barrell when it comes to parenting.
