who is much more knowledgeable than I am. I only know that the smaller states were chosen because it's much cheaper to campaign and the whole country is supposed to get to look at the candidates. I think the rules committee will probably take a good, long, hard look at how the democratic primaries are run. I was more for a national primary but there are a couple of points that must be taken into consideration. Unless campaign finance was changed dramatically, only big name candidates would ever get to run. It seems as if candidates that cannot raise millions drop out quickly. Since I was an Edwards supporter I would like to see more of an equal playing field. It's a mess.
