7. proportional representation in a disproportional system...
Kerry picks John Edwards as his running mate and expects that to make him a populist. He talks about how great Bush is handling the Iraq war and he still expects me to consider him a populist. He says nothing about election reform, proportional representation, or abolishing the Electoral College..and yet he still calls himself a democrat!

Kerry can win this race if he wants to, or he can lose it. Most Americans believe voters should elect our President, not states. Most Americans believe that one vote in Florida should have the same impact as one vote in Alaska. Most Americans believe that democracy is the greatest institution in America, not something we should be ashamed of! Unless Kerry understands this, he will be savaged by the Bush campaign on election day.
