i for one hope its the truth. it is during dean's tenure that democrats have pr oven they can win elections and it is during dean's tenure that the national party has been able to provide candidates the resources they need, financial and organizational, to be competitive with the republican opposition. dean's strategy is to grow and maintain party strength all the way to the white house use the power of the white to change the perception of liberal leadership. his fifty state strategy is what the republicans have bee doing for years.
if anything i respect him more because he doesn't owe his success and loyalty to the clintons. it is my hope this entire party circles the wagons and gives royal smack down to the clinton concept of self-preservation at the expense of those not in their inner circle of sycophants.
