5. I disagree that they don't believe it.
I think many of these people do believe it, and have always believed it, it's just now acceptable for white liberals to voice it in a more direct manner as opposed to the condescending way they usually do it.

I'm by no means an Obama supporter, but I predicted from the beginning of this primary that the subtle bigotry that lurks below the surface of your average white liberal (not the overt bigotry of the right) is going to bubble to the surface if Obama's campaign is successful.
