A big turn out for the hour, line for each precinct (there were 4 at my polling place) was 5 to 8 deep and getting longer.

voting smooth with the felt pen, most seemed to avoid the token e-voting machines. Smooth process, and some challenges were happening to people who had issues with their voter cards. One guy showed a utility bill and got challenged.

Everybody was friendly and there was a very positive vibe in the room.

Also, the stack of Dem ballots on the table had been depleted by 1/2 compared to the Repug pile. since the headers on the ballots were color coded it was easy to see that 75% of the people there were voting in on the Dem ballot. Not surprising in Chicago, and not surprising in IL where the GOP is a total joke.
