Anybody worried about the DNC's decision regarding MI and FL?

These two states, over the last decade, have been swing states. Since I fully expect the presidential race to be close and for neither candidate to win the electoral vote by a large margin, likely these two states will play a very big part in this election. Michigan has 18 electoral votes, Florida has 25, those are 43 electoral votes that could tilt the election the GOP's way, due to the DNC making those states essentially meaningless in the primary campaign process. I realize they broke the rules, but couldn't the DNC have made a compromise? I think the DNC's indifference to these states could hurt us down the line.
