23. It's reality
When I came here 5 years ago I used to tell young people to invest invest invest. Our country would be made up of the investor class and those who serve them. I was thinking 20 years down the road, but it's moved a little faster than I thought. In many ways, we're there. That's the reality. Manufacturing is global, US citizens make their money by investing in it. The US economy is currently based on managing the global economy or spending the dividends from the investments, for the most part. If you didn't invest, and aren't inventive or artistic, you better get a career taking care of boomers or investors. Don't shoot the messenger.
