16. I don't feel like he caters to me at all and I was born in 71.
Growing up in the 80s, I respected the political activists of the New Left. The idea that he feels like my (and his) generation have better ideas by virtue of our youth is patently absurd. When I see political activity, I see union activists in their 50s, ex-hippies and civil rights activists in their 60s and 70s, and anarcho-socialists in their 20s and 30s. Other than in the queer community, which Barack Obama has less than zero claim to, I see almost no political activity at all in the under 40 community beyond radical activists that Obama also has no claim to.

I loathe anyone Hannity and Limbaugh approve of. And plenty of mainstream folks like Edwards' message.

I wish Barack Obama was someone I could get behind. But I can't.
