Would he be "allowed" to disagree with the WH on something? Imagine the press if he did.

So, what exactly would be the point?

I'm not against former presidents running for Senate; Andrew Johnson did and Hubert Humphrey returned to the Senate after being Vice President. But while his wife is Prez? Sounds like a recipe for drama.
