If the general electorate was intelligent and informed, they would not find Kerry unlikeable; it is due to the sheer ignorance of the masses. But it is what it is, and we have to work with the entire public in elections. It's not that we need to dumb down our candidates, but we need to find someone who can speak effectively to a wide cross-section of Americans. Bill Clinton had that skill and I believe Obama does.

You and yours either ignore me or attack me. The above comment you ignored, yet you apparently you find my posting on your thread that I voted for Al Gore so egregious to the core that you felt perfectly justified posting "f*uck you" in response (it was deleted by the mods).

You and yours cannot abide the truth about Kerry when it deviates from the pretty picture you paint, but you don't seem to object when I correct misinformation about other candidates. These message boards reek of misinformation, purposeful or otherwise, and it bothers me that impressionable people read and absorb the misinformation and, worse, parrot the BS incorporated as their opinion.

I find your (and a handful of Kerry supporters like you) support for Kerry over the top and down the block. I really adored the Beatles as arduously when I was 10, but I never, ever said "f*ck you" to Rolling Stones supporters. You will always have a cheering squad that supports this behavior, but that doesn't make it right or justified in any way imaginable.
