But if the nominee of the Dem party is in fact Kerry (not a done deal, but certainly a distinct possibility now), then there's no chance that Dean will be the VP. None. Two New Englanders running together would be a disaster.

I'm not saying that it's right, but them's the facts.

However, I too would love to see Dean remain on the national stage in some occupation. Just as the Repugs have McCain, a relatively straight shooter even if I disagree with him on a number of issues, we need Dean to speak the basic truths that too many Dem pols are unwilling to speak. It is only after Dean speaks these truths do other Dems follow suit. I admire that simple, straightforward courage.

Regardless to how the primaries turn out, I tip my hat to the sincerity and audaciousness of Governor Howard Dean. Bravo and please keep it up.
