5. Good grief, I take a couple of important bits of intel from that article
First, that Brit Hume IS as big an asshole as he appears to be on TV. No wonder the poor kid killed himself--he was probably "spoken down to" just like his Mama by his sneering Pa.

Second, that Faux is VULNERABLE--they have the BALLS to want a BUCK a customer from the CABLES while their ratings are going DOWN?

Ailes — who took the top job after company potentate Rupert Murdoch's son Lachlan left — doesn't need any aggravation. Yes, the cable home of Bill O'Reilly, Geraldo Rivera and Chris Wallace is a cash cow with $454 million in ad revenue a year, and with an average of 1.5 million viewers, it has double the audience of CNN. But Fox News has seen its prime-time ratings fall for 11 months in a row (it was down 23% last quarter from the same period a year earlier), just as Murdoch is trying to get $1 per viewer instead of its current 25 cents out of cable and satellite operators. Murdoch is also eager to launch a business channel.

Imagine if a few million Americans sent an email to their cable operators asking that Fox be removed from their lineup and they be given either a twenty five cent rebate or the opportunity to choose another station. Imagine if this were done in BOYCOTT fashion. The cables would probably reduce their payments to Faux from twenty five cents per customer to something less...and it would probably be a long-ass time, if ever, before they could try to con a buck a viewer out of any signal transmission enterprise!

The final thing I get from the article is that Kim Hume is a victim of heavy-duty spouse abuse. No one deserves to be in a relationship that is "You disagree with him, and it's an argument--his way or the highway." She could probably make a rip-roaring BUNDLE on a book detailing how horrible that bastard of a husband has been to her over the years, and how he destroyed their family.

Between the appearances on the 'cicuit' (everything from OPRAH to Larry King to all the Late Nights to Doctor Phil) she could get that puppy up on the NYT bestseller list in a heartbeatand earn herself a nice payday....some agent ought to approach her! She could even parlay it into a 'relationship' program on TV or radio, seeing as she already has the background in media!

It would be a fine nail in the Faux coffin, too...Brit the Brute would have a difficult time maintaining his 'cred' if every time his big fucking head appeared on the screen, viewers hollered "Wife beating asshole!"
