3. The public knows that Iraq was a mistake
The public knows that Iraq was a mistake and was not connected to the War on Terror.

It was revenge by Dubya for his Dad, or it was for oil, but it wasn't to fight Osama or find WMDs or bring democracy to the Middle East.

Most feel that way now if you talk to them.

So we are feeding the perception that is already out there. That can work. Arguing whether the Terror War is a farce may be going too far in some states and lose votes, so Dems must know their district and which Talking Points to repeat.
