The brain is sixty percent fat and that omega 3 is showing the brain can actually rebuild synapses and shows great strides in preventing or even curing Depression, ADD, Alzheimer's, memory loss and many many other ailments of the brain. I believe the good that one gets from eating fish far out weighs the bad. You can buy supplemental tablets of omega 3 though if you are really worried about pollution. They say the body should have one gram a day of Omega 3 fatty oils.
