5 minutes ago being interviewed by an Australian reporter (whose name I didn't get). I'm trying to cook dinner and wasn't concentrating at first so the interview was about halfway over before it registered with me, and I thought Inhoffe sounded like a nutcase. He was going on and on about how the media distorts things in Iraq, and how great things are going over there.

The reporter comes back with no, it's not great on the ground in Iraq, and then he goes on to say that he's been there and his cameraman was shot in the head and other people with them were killed. Inhoffe tells the reporter that he should come with him and do a flyover in a Blackhawk to see how much better things are in Iraq now! (Guess the Iraqis would be throwing flowers up into the sky at them...)

He also mentioned that the prisoners at Abu Ghraib "could have been" terrorists.

Unbelievable, just unbelievable.
