Reply #10: Just goes to show that it sometimes takes awhile

Remember when Bush did the aircraft carrier shtick and everyone was creaming their jeans and "oooooh, can you see this in campaign commercials?" Well, okay, none of US said it, but that was the pundidiotracy take. And then, with deaths mounting, and "bring it on" and shit like that it all of a sudden is the hugest embarrassment. You KNOW it won't be showing up in any campaign spot.

Not that they are content-comparable, but it's just that sometimes things that make a very, very, strong impression are given a second look. Precisely because they DID make a strong impression. And on second look, things are very different.

Already things are turning about this Dean clip. And I'm betting that is the vein in which it will continue.
