Reply #13: I plan to challenge both of my Dem. Senators on the SS issue

I will write them a letter this weekend and tell them that if they vote to do ANYTHING that weakens Social Security benefits now or in the future, I will not only not vote for them but I will begin to actively campaign against them. My support for the Democratic Senators and Representatives who are rolling over for Bush is hanging by a thread and I will no longer sit idly by and let them and their Republican counterparts ruin what is left of this country without putting up a fight. As far as I am concerned, our system and a large number of OUR poiticians have all been polluted by corporate money and I am not going to support the further erosion of the rights of the PEOPLE whose interests they are supposed to be serving.
