I had lunch with a lifelong friend of whom I hadn't see in a long while. She is a democrat. We chatted and laughed together and we talked politics. THEN.........she said to me: Why can't the Democrats pick better candidates to run? This was said about Kerry.

I have to tell you, I felt that way too up until the last 2 months with all the bang on rallies.......Now I see she was tuned in all along.

I always thought it was odd that he came from behind all of a sudden in Iowa caucuses. Oh well, it's water under the bridge now. :cry:
