42. I think these are valid arguments. And I don't have an answer
other than to say I'm tired of the way it's going. I really do dream of a President that can unify the country. I know nobody is ever going to like everything the guy does but I am sick to death of people HATING a President because he is of the opposite party (vs. me, who hates Bush because of what he is and what he does and what he believes).

There will be a civil war inside the Rethuglican party if Shrub goes down, and the bigger he goes down the bigger the civil war. Whatever strategy works (and I'm open to debating what that might be) we don't want to do something that makes it easier for them to stay unified. I just believe that reaching out to the moderates is the right thing to do (smart? I don't know). Remember, there were Republicans who voted innocent in the Senate - who DIDN'T go after the man. We still need to look at individuals first, what they do, not their party affiliation. I have confidence however that Kerry is smart enough to figure out whether it is you, or me, who is right on this one, and do it!
