in the next several years the democratic party needs to work on making every American understand this distinction and on creating a schism in the republican party that results in the Old Time Republicans either taking back control of their party or leaving it. It is especially important that democrats start this relatively soon so that it can have an impact on state legislative races in the years leading up to the next Congressional redistricting.
