ar eyou sure that the election results of the last three decades (or longer) have been legitimate? Personally, I think about 80% of Americans are "with us."
Polls and election results alike are skewed to ensure the perpetuation of the status quo. All this means is that each oligarchy vote counts more than one of ours.
We already saw that principle in action in 2000 when 5 oligarchy votes trumped 50 million proletariat votes.
2000 was a COUP, not a botched election. Those who executed the coup will not relinquish power easily jsut because a bunch of us commoners say so at voting booths. They need to preserve the illusion of democracy, not democracy itself.
