I also struggle with a rethuglican family... two sisters and both parents. I can sypathize with the frustration you experience and am at present trying to cope. I have instituted a gag rule on all political discussion and (as I live many hundreds of miles away from them all) limited my contact with them to brief, cursory phone conversations while I ponder how I am related to these people.

If it's any consolation: you are not alone.

Keep posting... it's the only thing that gets me through.
