posted on this board months ago that Chris Matthews was pro-life, but based on your account, he's actually pro-choice.

Also, I've long wondered why Matthews voted for Bush, and it's interesting that he attributes it to the "humble" foreing policy promise.

Of course, if there any acconts from 2000 of Matthews explaining his vote, that would be even better, but I liked your description of the speech.
