Your state is one of the battleground states that will decide this election. George Bush and Dick Cheney are spending a lot of time in CO, and the Bush-Cheney campaign is pouring millions of dollars into misleading attack ads.

The cavalry is coming.

To win, we will build the biggest volunteer-driven grassroots effort your state has ever seen. Many of you have already asked what more you can do to help. The Democratic Party in your state is hosting organizing conventions to recruit and train the volunteer leaders who will make the phone calls and knock on doors. And we would like to extend a special invitation to you.

These organizing conventions are three-to-six hour long meetings for people who want to work at least an hour or two every day between now and Election Day. If you aren't able to make this type of commitment, please volunteer for phone banks and canvassing by clicking the link towards the bottom of this e-mail.

At your organizing convention, the Kerry-Edwards CO Democratic Party coordinated campaign will lay out the plan to win and will give you the training you need to be an effective volunteer for John Kerry and John Edwards and other Democrats. The coordinated campaign will also be signing people up for specific shifts to work over the next couple of weeks.
